You can add clear or encrypted files to your explorer view and take various actions on the selected files. You can encrypt, decrypt, zip multiple files and encrypt as a single secure zip file, manage access to encrypted files, view access view of a specific encrypted file and so forth. Place your mouse on top of the file and the list of actions will appear on the right-hand side. You can dynamically manage a secure file access policy to grant, revoke or block access to other people. Visit https://www.lockmagic.com/apps/lmprop.html page and select the secure encrypted file you want to manage.
When you import or manually address a specific email address, you have the option to set a specific access right, “Trust, Deny or Allow”. Trust access allows you to grant access to the user for all files you’re the author. This is useful in case you have multiple identities in Lockmagic and you login at different time with different email addresses. By trusting all of your email addresses you don’t have to worry which email you have encrypted files with and which email you are accessing files with. A second scenario to trust someone with all your content if you want to delegate someone else to have access to your content such as a personal admin or office manager.
The Deny access means the user can’t access any content you’re the author. This is useful when you have a temporary relationship with a user such as a contract and you want to prevent them from accessing any content you have previously shared with them. All secure emails and files will not be accessible once your mark a specific user with Deny access.
The Allow access means the normal content authorization policy evaluation will be performed against the user.
In the following picture the user support@lockmagic.com will be able to access any encrypted file authored by info@lockmagic.com because it’s listed in the contacts as Trusted. The user Sara.John@costco.com will not be able to access any encrypted file authored by info@lockmagic.com because it’s listed in the contacts as Deny.
All encrypted files that are stored in a shared folder have a single authorization policy stored in Lockmagic. You manage this policy from the Lockmagic web application for google drive.
You can manage access by adding more people, removing people or block all access to any share file.
You can track and view all accesses to your secure content by anyone and determine whether they successfully accessed your content or tried to use a different email address which got blocked. Also, sometimes the content might have already expired. To view your events.
You can save a list of email addresses as contacts in Lockmagic so you don’t have to re-enter the email address every time you wish to encrypt or send secure email. Select the contacts option and either import your google or outlook contacts or manually enter each email and press enter. After you finishing adding all the emails you want in our contacts press Update. This list will show on all future authorization screens and in the To/Cc lines when you are sending a secure email.
Open the contact using the gmail option. Press on the gmail icon, click the checkbox on all the contacts you want to save to Lockmagic and press Update.
