Lockmagic supports storing contacts email addresses and assigning access levels to achieve the following:
The contacts list is available to select from when sending secure email and encrypting files. This helps avoid entering contact email addresses manually and eliminates mis-typed emails.
You can use the access 'Deny' value to block a given contact from accessing your secure content. This is useful when you want to block someone from accessing all secure content you have shared with them previously or in the future. This setting will override the authorization policy of all content you have encrypted.
For example, if you have terminated an employee or a contractor and you want to make sure they don't access any content
you have shared with them, then add them to your Lockmagic contacts with 'Deny' access.
Another use case is if you sent someone an email and you want to revoke it but you don't have access to the email at the time. You can use this setting to prevent all accesses until you get a chance to block the specific content in question and then restore the contact access again.
You can use the 'Trust' access value to grant a contact access to all content you have encrypted. This is useful when you
want to share secure content with someone even if you have not explicitly list them. For example, if you have multiple email addresses
registered with Lockmagic and want to access all your content regardless of which email you are currently logged in.
Note, this setting only applies to content you have encrypted and doesn't apply to encrypted to content you receive from others.
